London: Women cricketers of Bangladesh have secured a place in the upcoming ICC Women’s T-20 World Cup 2018.
The brave girls of Bangladesh have confirmed their place in the World Cup today 12 July by beating Scotland at the semi-final of the T-20 World Cup Qualifying Tournament now being held in The Netherlands.
Earlier Bangladesh Women team became unbeaten Champion of Group A beating Papua New Guinea, The Netherlands and United Arab Emirates.

F15F8F8A-CA38-4E20-8677-B5C270E26F9BBangladesh will face Ireland in the final on Saturday 14 July. However, both the finalists have already ensured their place in the upcoming T-20 Women World Cup in West Indies in November.

These two qualified teams will join earlier automatically qualified 8 Women cricket teams- Australia, England, India, South Africa, West Indies, Sri Lanka, New Zealand and Pakistan.

It may be mentioned that Bangladesh Women team has become Champion in the Asia Cup T-20 tournament in June beating six-time champion India.

On way to Netherlands, Bangladesh Women team played a bilateral three-match T-20 series against Ireland and won the series by 2-1.
