UK Bangla Reporters Unity calls to stand by helpless people of the society during Ramadan

Londonঃ Ramadan teaches us moderation. The best way to achieve self-purification is fasting. Everyone should preserve the sanctity of Ramadan, abstaining from all forms of injustice, injustice, oppression, obscenity and wickedness. At the same time, everyone should stand by the helpless and deprived people of society, whether in the country or the diaspora.

On 8 April 2023, at a restaurant in East London, the speakers said the above at an Iftar gathering organised by UK Bangla Reporters Unity. Speakers said we all should work for the welfare of humanity. President of UK Bangla Reporters Unity President Matiar Chowdhury and General Secretary Muhammad Shajidur Rahman moderated the pre-iftar discussion. Amongst the guests who spoke was Councillor Iqbal Hossain of London Borough of Tower Hamlets, Cabinet Member for Culture and Recreation, Bangladesh Expatriate Welfare Council Chairman Jahangir Khan, Chairman of Chabbishe Television Abdul Ahad Chowdhury, Bilet TVs Amina Ali, London Bangla Press Club Assistant Treasurer Mohammad Abdul Qayyum, London Bangla Press Club Senior Member Zakir Hossain Koyes, poet Masuk Ibne Anis and Tower Hamlets Councillor Farooq Ahmed. Also, former President Ansar Ahmad Ullah, Founder President Principal Muhammad Shahed Rahman, Treasurer Muhammad Saleh Ahmad, EC Member former Councillor Sunahwar Ali and EC member Jamal Khan participated in the discussion on behalf of the organising organisation UK Bangla Reporters Unity.

Besides, Vice President Barrister Iqbal Hossain, Khaled Chowdhury, Shamim Ashraf, EC member, publisher of Bangla Songlap Ansar Miah, Tajul Islam, Zuber Ali, Raich Miah, Saidul Islam Sunny, EC member Abdul Basir and many others were also present in the Iftar party.
