Hindu Aid UK supports the underprivileged in Rangamati

London: Hindu Aid UK has provided essential educational supplies to 30 underprivileged, orphaned and disadvantaged students in Rangamati as part of its ongoing commitment to supporting education and community development.

The educational support programme, held on Friday, was organised locally by the Sanatan Jubo Parishad, Rangamati, with financial support from Hindu Aid UK. Around 100 students, parents, teachers, community leaders and members of the Sanatan community attended the event. Beneficiary students received notebooks, pens and other essential learning materials aimed at helping them continue their education and achieve their academic goals.

Anupam Saha (FCCA), Trustee of Hindu Aid UK, attended the programme as the special guest and spoke about the charity’s humanitarian work in Bangladesh and internationally. He highlighted the organisation’s continued efforts in education, healthcare, disaster relief, poverty alleviation and community welfare initiatives. Addressing the gathering, Mr Saha said, “Education is the foundation of a nation’s progress. Supporting talented and underprivileged students is our moral responsibility. Hindu Aid UK remains committed to continuing initiatives that promote education and improve the lives of vulnerable communities.”

Organisers said the initiative reflects Hindu Aid UK’s mission to empower disadvantaged communities by expanding access to education and supporting vulnerable children. The programme concluded with the distribution of food among attendees, fostering a spirit of compassion, unity and community service. Hindu Aid UK expressed its gratitude to Sanatan Jubo Parishad, Rangamati, volunteers, local community leaders, donors and supporters whose collective efforts ensured the successful implementation of the project.
